What the studio composes.
Sympathy is the work we are most often asked to do quickly, and with the most care. A call arrives. A name. An address. A service held three days from now. The studio composes for these moments without a brief — we know what to send, because we have sent it before.
We work with white anemones, garden roses in ivory and pale blush, hellebore, hydrangea, jasmine, andromeda branches, and the quiet greens that hold a room together. The arrangements are restrained. They do not perform grief; they sit beside it. We do not use sympathy-themed badges, foam crosses, or anything that announces itself before the card is read.

For services within forty-eight hours, we accept compressed timelines — write us with the address of the funeral home or the family's residence, the name of the person who has died, and a short note for the card. Everything else, we will quietly handle.

The studio composes the work by hand the day of delivery. We work with what is exceptional in the week — never from a default. The vessel is part of the composition.
The delivery.
Hand-delivered by the studio with a handwritten card. Unmarked van, plain dress, discreet. We will not announce the sender unless you ask.
Sympathy arrangements begin at $185 and compose to the room — most pieces between $185 and $485. Larger service installations are quoted against the venue. Same-day and next-day delivery within El Dorado County and the Greater Sacramento region for orders placed before 10am.

Can you deliver same-day for a service tomorrow?
Often, yes. For orders placed before 10am Pacific, we accept same-day and next-day sympathy delivery across El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Granite Bay, and the Greater Sacramento region. Call the studio at (323) 302-7153 — we will respond within the hour. For a service more than forty-eight hours out, write to taylor@lesfleurcompany.com with the address and the family's name.
What is appropriate to send?
If you are close to the family, a piece delivered to their home is often more useful than a standing arrangement at the service — they will be home for days. If you cannot be present, a composition sent to the funeral home or the place of worship is correct. We compose in ivory, soft blush, and white with quiet greens; we do not use sympathy badges or themed ribbon. A handwritten card is included with every arrangement.
Can you compose for a celebration of life?
Yes. Celebration-of-life services often call for slightly warmer palettes — pale apricot, soft butter, dusty rose — and we will compose to what the family loved. Write us with a sense of the person's life or send a single image; we work from a brief or a feeling, whichever you have.
Do you ship sympathy arrangements nationally?
Select pieces from our Heritage line — preserved roses and the dome — ship nationally and are appropriate when you cannot attend in person. Fresh arrangements are local to the Sacramento region; for sympathy outside our service area, we are happy to recommend a studio in that city we have worked with before.
What does pricing look like?
Sympathy compositions begin at $185 — a considered single bouquet or a piece for a partner's home. Most arrangements compose between $185 and $485 depending on scale. Service installations and altar pieces are quoted against the venue and the family's preference; write us with the location and we will respond with a short proposal.
What should I include when I write you?
Three things: who the arrangement is for (the family's name, or a partner's), where to send it (a residence, a funeral home, a place of worship), and when it needs to arrive. A short note for the card if you have the words. If you do not, we have written enough of these — we can suggest something quiet and correct.
