Are preserved roses real?
Yes. Our Heritage roses are real Ecuadorian garden roses, harvested at peak bloom and treated with a glycerin-based preservation solution that replaces the natural sap. The petals retain their original structure, color, and softness — they are not dried, dyed, or artificial.
How long do preserved roses last?
Heritage line preserved roses last approximately one year when kept indoors, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. The Hatbox compositions and The Heart hold for the same window with comparable care.
How are preserved roses different from dried roses?
Dried roses lose moisture, fade in color, and become brittle. Preserved roses retain moisture through the glycerin treatment, holding their original color and a soft, lifelike texture. The difference is visible and tactile.
Do preserved roses need water? Can they get wet?
Preserved roses do not need water — and they should not get wet. Water damages the preserved petals and shortens the piece's life. Display indoors, away from humidity and direct sun.
Where do the roses come from?
Our preserved roses are sourced from Ecuadorian rose farms at altitude. The preservation process replaces the natural sap with a glycerin-based solution, preserving petal structure, color, and softness.
Where do you ship?
The Heritage line ships nationally across the contiguous United States. International shipping is available by request.
How are the pieces presented?
Three signature pieces compose the Heritage line. The Heart is our flagship composition — preserved roses in heart silhouette on a moss-wrapped column, presented on a noir pedestal ($1,250+). The Hatbox — Velvet is preserved roses in a pink velvet cylinder with a pearl bow and ivory ribbon ($485+). The Hatbox — Noir is the same scale composition in a lacquered black cylinder with an ivory silk bow ($585+). Additional pieces are in development for future editions.
